SLAMMED by Colleen Hoover

Upon arriving in Michigan from Texas, Layken or "Lake", with her mother and her brother  meet their new neighbours, Will and his little brother.  The young boys become instant best friends and there is an immediate attraction between Will and Lake.  After only their first date a real connection is felt by them both and suddenly Michigan is a great place to be.  All too soon Will and Lake face an unmovable barrier to their blossoming romance.  While still being thrown together everyday they have no choice but to try and end their connection and deny what they feel.  As difficult as their situation is there  are still more heartaches and challenges ahead for Lake and her young brother.  Will is always there being a friend and lending support when needed but trying to be friends only and putting up a good front is harder than either of them thought.  Can Will and Lake surpass all of the obstacles in their paths and finally be together?
